The Trial of Daniel Diggle

Every day, various times

Admission

The trial of famous Luddite, Daniel Diggle recreated in our theatre of law

Marking 200 years since Luddite Daniel Diggle was tried and executed on this very site, we have created a special courtroom re-enactment which will be performed by our professional company of storytellers.

Diggle was arrested after attempting to shoot a man during a frame-breaking rampage. Hear the defence and prosecution for the case before deciding whether he paid a fair price for his crime.
